The conference will take place at the Technische Universität München (TUM), Campus Freising-Weihenstephan, Germany (close to Munich airport).

The work carried out by the scientists at the Weihenstephan Science Centre revolves around guaranteeing the quality and quantity of food for human consumption while simultaneously protecting ecological, economical and social resources in accordance with the central themes of 'health' and 'sustainability'. About 80 professors representing all aspects of Life Sciences are engaged in teaching approximately 3,000 undergraduates.
